SunScope Damper
Introduced in the spring of 2002, the SunScope damper allows the
natural light level to be turned up or down to any level from 100%
to 5%. Designed for rooms where too much light might create problems
such as computer rooms, beds rooms or common living areas with TV's
or computer monitors.
Designed specifically for use in Canadian attics this
maintenance free SunScope damper installs easily into the 13"
system and only requires a 110 volt power source within 5 feet of
the SunScope. With it's hand held remote control design and low
voltage motor, no additional wiring is required for a switch or
wall control and the remote control works within 100 feet of the
SunScope. The motorized dimmer unit utilizes a mirrored disc that
rotates inside the SunScope pipe on a single axis, and thru the
remote it can be rotated to any position in the tube from fully
vertical (100% open) to fully horizontal (95% closed). |

SunScope Light Kit
This CSA / UL approved low voltage Halogen light kit is designed
for SunScope locations where an additional artificial light source
close to the SunScope is not practical. Applications include small
bathrooms, closets, narrow hallways and other locations where subtle
nighttime light is required. This easy to install unit comes built
into a 2 foot pipe section and only requires a switched power source
near the SunScope. An optional remote control is available if a
switched power source is not present.
